,Stars walk the ramp at LIFW 2010
,he ramp was sprinkled with star power all the way as major celebrities from Bollywood chose to walk the aisle for their favourite designers. Lakme Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Lakme India Fashion Week, is being held in Mumbai this year and the stars are making a dash to extend some stardust to their favourite designers. LIFW had started off as a collaboration between IMG and Lakme and will host 50 designers including all the bigwigs of the fashion industry. Tarun Tahiliani will showcase the concluding collection on 23rd September with the Lakme India Finale Collection. Anil Chopra, LIFW impresario says,In the tenth year, 20 of our grand finale designers are coming together to put up a show. Ten years… what a fantastic journey this has been!We agree. And while the Indian designers wait to catch the fancy of International retail bigshots, we leave you with a glimpse or two of some of the stars spotted on the ramp at this year’s Lakme India Fashion Week- Spring Summer 2010.
